Carole Hill
Chief Information Officer
Carole Hill is Chief Information Officer for Wilbur-Ellis, a role she assumed in October 2024. Carole joined Wilbur Ellis April 2022 as Senior Director, Data Strategy and Governance. Carole is focused on enabling employees and customers with user-friendly, innovative and purposeful technology. She leads her teams in providing accurate data availability throughout processes and insights to empower informed, data-driven decisions by those consuming information.
Before joining Wilbur-Ellis, Carole has been in the agribusiness and chemical manufacturing industry since 2004 leading several information technology and data initiatives such as system implementations, business intelligence, data strategy, custom development and information technology management. Carole began her agriculture career at United Agri Products in 2004 staying through mergers and acquisitions with Crop Production Services, Agrium and Agrium Advanced Technologies. She joined Pinnacle Agriculture in 2013 with the last two years leading information technology and helped transition to Simplot after the acquisition. Carole became the Head of Global Data Technology at Ball Corporation in 2020 before returning to her passion of supporting agribusiness.
Carole holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in finance and a Master of Science degree from the University of Denver in information technology.
Carole resides in Denver, Colorado with her family where she enjoys hiking, camping, snowboarding and fly fishing.
