WILBUR-ELLIS COMPANY APPOINTS NEW PRESIDENT OF ITS FEED DIVISION

San Francisco – June 12, 2013 – Wilbur-Ellis Company announced today that it has appointed Rob Fullerton as president of its Feed Division, which markets and distributes value-added pet food, livestock, and aquaculture feed ingredients in North America and Asia-Pacific.  Beginning July 1, 2013, Fullerton will lead the strategic direction of the division which today reaches over $500 million in annual sales.  Fullerton is based out of Feed Division headquarters in Vancouver, Washington, and will report to John Thacher, president and chief executive officer of Wilbur-Ellis.     

“In the last 40 years, we have only had three individuals fill the role of Feed Division president.  I believe this demonstrates the strength of our company’s leadership,” said Thacher.  “Rob has proven that he has the knowledge, management skills, and integrity to fulfill such an important position in our company. I am very confident that the Feed Division under Rob’s leadership will achieve continued strong growth and success.”   

Fullerton began his career with Wilbur-Ellis in 1992 as a grain trader based out of Saskatoon, Canada.  He has worked in many sales and marketing capacities during his twenty years with the company, eventually becoming senior sales manager in 2008.  Fullerton moved to the division’s headquarters in 2009, and in 2011 was appointed vice president of the Feed Division.     

Fullerton will succeed Ron Salter, who has held this position since 1999, and has guided the Feed Division to over a decade of record growth and profitability.
