Brayton Wilbur, Jr. Assumed Role of Chairman and Herbert B. Tully Appointed President and CEO

Wilbur-Ellis Company announced that effective January 1, 2000, Brayton Wilbur, Jr. assumed the role of Chairman and Herbert B. Tully, former Vice-President and Treasurer, was appointed the President and Chief Executive Officer of Wilbur-Ellis Company.  
 
Having held the position of President and CEO since January of 1989, Wilbur has transferred the role to Tully who has been with the company for 18 years and has had experience in all of the operational areas of the fertilizer and chemical distribution as well as trading businesses, both domestic and foreign. Wilbur noted that he is confident Tully will lead the company in a manner that will further increase its size and profitability.  
 
Founded in 1921 and with total sales in excess of $1.5 billion, Wilbur-Ellis Company specializes in the marketing, distribution and formulation of crop protection products, fertilizers and animal feed stuffs primarily in the western United States. Through its Connell Bros. Division, Wilbur-Ellis also exports industrial chemicals, minerals and feed to the Pacific Rim for many major U.S. companies.
