Wilbur-Ellis’ Feed Division donated $2,664 ($3,500 Canadian) to the Windy City Canine Rescue Society, a dog shelter based in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, that helps older dogs in need of a new home find their perfect family.

FEED SPONSORS TEEN FOR A 6-WEEK RODEO COURSE

Wilbur-Ellis’ Feed division donated $2,150 to Silver Buckle Ranch to assist in sponsoring one teen for a six-week long Teen Wrangler course, grounds maintenance around the ranch and aid in the purchase of a newer tractor to replace the existing 1964 model.

PINK SEED NIGHT

As part of its pink seed campaign, Wilbur-Ellis Chester joined forces with the Chester Area High School Lady Flyers at “Think Pink” night at a Flyers volleyball match. Wilbur-Ellis Chester started its pink seed campaign, called “Start Strong, Stay Strong,” in 2015 by donating proceeds of its pink-dyed soybeans treated and sold to customers in Chester, South Dakota, to benefit breast cancer awareness.
